He proceeded to mail out promotional material that featured a 1,000-room hotel, golf courses, parks and a street wide enough to fit up to 20 lanes of traffic. Several stockholders invested in the property, including high rollers such as Paris Singer, Irving Berlin, Elizabeth Arden, W.K. Vanderbilt II and T. Coleman du Pont. In addition, film star Marie Dressler sold real estate for Mizner in the area, which included Boca Raton oceanfront properties and Boca Raton condos.
